Like Clockwork - Ghost of the Spell

All Hallow’s Eve, while not a holiday of their Goddess, was still a well known and respected holy day. A day where souls of the dead would pass on; a day the undead would reflect upon their existence, a day where people dressed up as other people and monsters.

It was a day of treats, both physical and visceral. After all, an excuse to dress up in outfits even more outside of the norm without having people bat an eye at it was something few could resist. Heck, at the front of the Church, the priestesses were conducting mass in costume. Rose smirked, wondering if they would figure out where those outfits came from but at least they were safe from legal teams as long as it fell under parody. Rose, in the meantime, dressed like a similarly named character whose gothic lolita red riding hood motif fit nicely for those ignorant about crossovers.

It was a day of tricks, as Rose Quartz skipped down the hall smiling. After all, she loved this day! What other day of the year could one coerce candy from other people under the threat of malicious pranks while concealing your identity? Well, legally that is.

“WHERE ARE MY CLOTHES?!” Clear Quartz shouted in literal stereo as the walls and floors themselves shook from the vibrations. She always did have the biggest pipes in the band and the physically pulsating sound waves indicated her rage. It queued Rose’s exit from the area, sliding the 4th wall back in place behind her, Rose felt the pixelations of the transition flowing through her. The digital plane would be a good place to hide out today, at least while the rest of her tricks resolved themselves over the course of the day - night time was candy time. Besides, while Akita was busy with the masses, the other digital resident, Nyela-chan, was always good for a laugh, even if she was a little too straight laced for her own good.
